Woman’s head injury leads to lawsuit

January 13th, 2008 · No Comments

Shirley Van Etten has filed a personal injury lawsuit against Wal-Mart after falling on a sticky substance in a superstore location. She claims to have suffered injuries to her jaw, hip, knee, leg, head, and body. She blames Wal-Mart’s negligent behavior for her injuries, stating that Wal-Mart is responsible to provide her a reasonably safe place to shop.

Van Etten also claims that Wal-Mart was aware of the sticky substance and did nothing to clean the area or warn consumers of the dangers. She is seeking damages for pain and suffering, medical expenses, lost wages, and disfigurement.
