Home decor retailer Kirkland’s has been sued by Waneta Clark over injuries she allegedly suffered in one of their stores. The suit, filed earlier this week, claims that Kirkland’s was negligent by allowing a rug to remain lying the in the middle of a walkway, which caused Clark to trip and fall. It also claims that Clark suffered serious injuries in the fall and has required ongoing medical care for over two years. She is suing for medical damages, lost wages, mental anguish, physical impairment, and disfigurement.
